Big Happy Family: The Israels

Over the past year, John and I have been looking for a house. This long process has been made easy and fun because we have the best realtors EVER! John and Edie are an awesome team to work with, so I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their family for their annual Christmas portraits.

Edie is a tiger of a realtor. She’s always on the offensive, getting stuff done. And she has this gorgeous elegance that the camera really loves. What a looker.

John looks at every nook and cranny, making sure we’re getting a good deal and there aren’t any surprises (he has this dad-like vibe that makes you feel safe).

I was so impressed with their daughter Emily. For as young as she is, she is so mature and well put together. As you can see from the photos below, that sophistication shines through the camera lens!

With a nice cool breeze in the air and the gorgeous yellow leaves, Fall is finally here. These gorgeous Aspen like trees reminded them of their old home in Colorado. They really knew how to strike a pose!I really love the softness of this photograph. The animal to the right of Edie represents the tiger in her!
Edie and John, you raised a beautiful daughter. This photo made them so excited! John started celebrating the republican party and insisted on taking their picture beneath it. Heh, heh. I guess it’s like a family coat of arms or crest.Emily got this cute little doggie for her 13 birthday and she named her Madeline Charlotte. Seven years later, she is truly one of the family. And I have to end on my favorite shot of the whole day. I love everything about this photo!

Thanks for giving me the honor of capturing your beautiful family. As our realtors, you have helped us find our dream home and I hope we can raise a family as blessed as yours in that home.
