Halloween Goodness

Every year John and I dress up for Halloween. Since I work at a high school, it is almost mandatory that teachers dress up. So I have been everything from a Geisha girl to an 80’s aerobics instructor over the 9 years I have been teaching. This year I was sort of lame and dressed up as a cop.  Considering I told ghost stories in the darkroom all day, the only part of my costume that came in handy was my flash light.

John had the best costume ever; he was the B.P. Oil Spill. He bought all sorts of fish paraphernalia and covered it with black paint, along with his face. People would look at him and it would take them awhile to get it, but once they got it, they could not stop laughing. My husband is pure genius status.

Just wait, B.P. is going to create a super hero to redeem themselves after all the mess they caused.
This is was what we wore last year. I love that I bought my 70’s dress at a thrift store, but totally wear it all the time. And I love John even more after looking at this picture.

This last pic, John and I took on one of our first dates 5 years ago. After looking back on this picture, I can see even back then, how meant for each other we are. The writing was on the wall!

In your cop outfit, you TOTALLY look like the singing cop from the Mask movie (the one with Jim Carrey)
