Sometimes during a session I get goose bumps or I shed a tear. During this session, I did both. And not because I was cold or because I dropped my lens, but because I got to see a glimpse of the incredible love a couple has for each other. After 11 years of marriage, Claudia & Zach still love each other like crazy and are looking HOT for the camera!

This session was a gift from a former client, Araceli to her best friend Claudia. I asked her to write a few words to surprise Claudia & Zach.

“Claudia & Zach,

I met my best friend, Claudia, sixteen years ago when we were in our ‘roaring’ twenties.  We’ve had an amazing journey together, creating strong bonds and priceless memories along the way. Truly, she is an amazing human being and her long list of friends attests to her friendly and selfless nature.  (And did I mention she is so darn creative?).  She and her husband, Zach, have been married for eleven years now and have been blessed with two beautiful boys, Mason and Connor.  Claudia’s cheerful, positive outlook on life, her strength as a Christian wife and mother and her willingness to take on anything that life deals her, has been tremendously inspiring to me.

Last month, when she turned 40, I decided to give her a gift that was equally as priceless as the precious friendship she had blessed me with.  A photo session with Amber Fox, of course!  I wanted her to have a few photos that would capture that perfect shot between her and Zach; the history of the journey they had taken and the hope of what lies ahead.  Best of all, I wanted Amber to capture the essence of being forty, and fabulous!  Way to go, Amber, you rock!”

I can’t believe you guys are 40! Claudia, you’re one HOT mama and you’re married to a super handsome husband. Grrr!
This is the moment when I asked each of them to communicate their love for one another through touch. Watching this I got goose bumps. And I when I got home, I noticed my mascara had smeared, so I know I cried a little.  It was so beautiful to see their love for one another. 
Sometimes I have my clients jump and act silly for the camera.And of course a good marriage is filled with laughter and having fun. Thanks for letting me into your lives today. You are a beautiful couple and your love is encouraging to me. God bless your marriage and your family.
