I really LOVE this family! John and Edie Israel were our real estate agents and helped us find our dream home. They are the perfect duo, Edie being a strong woman who is excellent at what she does and John who looked at homes with the love of a father. I seriously had the BEST experience looking for our house, because of them! So last year, when they asked me to photograph their family for the annual Christmas card,  I was so excited. And doubly excited when I got to meet up again and capture their lovely family for this year’s holiday portrait.

Beyond being brilliant at what they do, John and Edie are incredible parents. I met their daughter Emily last year and I was instantly impressed. Leaps and bounds more mature than most her age, Emily is kind like her father and confident like her mother. This family as a whole is just beautiful, inside and out.
John and Edi have a long lasting love and their laughter shows it. Edie, you are gorgeous! Your eyes are spectacular.

Emily is about to graduate from Cal State Fullerton and has a very exciting future ahead of her.

And  this is Madeline. Emily got this little cutie when she was 13, but her parents loved her so much, that they kind of kept her as their own. With a face like this one, can you blame Edie & John?!I had the Israel’s share some of their favorite memories with each other. They had lots of them!And then I had John & Edie tell Emily some of their hopes and dreams for their soon to be graduate. Emily loved it. Emily, you are so beautiful. Smart, confident and well spoken. Plus, you are so dang cute!Towards the end of our shoot I knew it was time to bust out the mustaches. They had a blast playing with these! You guys are so great!!!
