Merry Christmas everyone! This is one of my favorite times of year, because I get to listen to fun Christmas music all season, eat lots of yummy food and go to holiday parties. But most of all, I love it because I get to reflect on the birth of Jesus and celebrate that He is God.

Luke 1:30 has been on our chalkboard for the past week and I think it is definitely one of my favorite Christmas verses. I have found much strength and promise in this verse. “But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.””
