Life happens so quickly. You have a baby, take lots of pictures when they are little and then all of sudden, your baby is graduating from high school and you haven’t taken a picture of them in what feels like years. The cliche is true, that our children grow up so fast. This is why I LOVE photographing adult siblings, because they too need great pictures. As a mom, I hope to photograph my boys all the time, even when they are in high school, but something tells me that my high schooler will be pushing my camera away.

The Hartnett family is a darling family of two handsome brothers and two beautiful sisters. All very smart and super talented, Madeline, Liz, Chris and Ryan were super fun to photograph. I grew up with only one brother, so I don’t know what it’s like to have a big family. On the flip side, my husband grew up with four other siblings. Just as it is at the home my husband grew up in, I am sure the Hartnett household is filled with lots of laughter.

We did our shoot in two stages. We started in my favorite Fullerton nature spot and took advantage of some beautiful light. We had so much fun taking some beautiful head shots and some great family and sibling portraits.

Then the boys left and I got to spend more time with Maddie and Liz  to get some fun shots of the two of them. And with a  new location, it was time for an outfit change. Yeah!I love the way the ladies at Salon Lujon do all of my client’s hair and makeup. Liz, you are stunning in this shot!!!
