I am so excited to showcase the Nicole’s gorgeous Senior Portraits photographed all over nooks and crannies of Downtown Fullerton. Nicole is one of my Foxy Models, so I have been blessed to photograph this beautiful, super smart and athletically talented young woman on multiple occasions. If you want to see her other shoots, you can click here, here and here. Because of that, Nicole was super comfortable in front of my camera and we had so much fun capturing her hip & happy senior pictures.
Nicole is a Class of 2016 Senior at Sonora High School. With a full academic plate of Interbaccaluarate classes and Varsity Track & Varsity Volleyball filling up much of her time after school, Nicole still finds time to tutor students with special needs and always does whatever it takes to make people smile and believe in themselves. She describes herself as being friends with lots of different people, and it’s probably because she is so dang nice & personable, that of course everyone wants to be her friend.
I loved this session we shot of Nicole. We started off in a fun brick area that had the most beautiful light. I fondly think of this light as yummy. Flattering, soft and highlights Nicole’s best features. We then headed behind a Downtown Fullerton hair salon (there are lots of them here) and found a cool wall of green and interesting textures. On a side note, the BEST hair salon in Fullerton is Salon Lujon, where Nicole got her hair and makeup done by the fabulous Amanda.
For my photography students who are reading this, texture is always a great backdrop to pose your model in front of. It adds dimension to the shot. 🙂
I have always wanted to photograph someone on this wall. This particular day, it was somewhat cloudy and Nicole was worried that the light wasn’t good for photos. Actually cloudy light acts light a giant soft box and can create lovely portraits when used correctly. So this wall is usually in the harsh sun in the later half of the day, during the time I like to shoot, but on this cloudy day it was looking gorgeous and acted as a perfect backdrop for Nicole. I was seriously jumping up and down when I got these! Nicole’s adorable romper and floppy hat was the perfect outfit! It almost looks like she is in France.
Oh this wall, this wall! So much fun to shoot in front of! Nicole is super fashionable and can seriously be a super model, so I wanted to find the perfect spot for the graphic pattern of her skirt. Nicole you are insanely beautiful!
I think this trio would look amazing on the wall together. Don’t you agree?
And no session of senior portraits would be complete without the essential pretty nature spot with some backlight goodness. And of course Nicole is looking STUNNING!
This shot is on the cover of her album! Seriously, Nicole you are jaw droppingly beautiful.
Every year I try to challenge myself with learning something new and upping my game. So this year, I am conquering off-camera flash. I love OCF and so does Nicole! She looks especially beautiful. And so does her cute doggie.
So the look of these is a bit different than what I usually show my blog readers, but there is going to be a lot more of this look coming to you all in future posts.
Nicole is a super athlete. She is very proud of every patch she earned on that letterman jacket. And she should be! Nicole, you wow me with your crazy ambition to go to Harvard like your big bro, and your super talent for anything sporty is clear just by looking at you. You are going to rock your senior year and I pray you get to your dream school. As a Foxy Model, Nicole has some more fun shoots ahead too, so make sure to check back on the blog to see some of those awesome shots.
