This shoot was special to me. I simply love this young lady. Kelsy McColgan is not only a Foxy Model, but she is my partner in crime. She has assisted me on most of my shoots this Senior season, and I have loved having her at my side. She has been a blast to work with and I have really enjoyed having her at my side. So when it came time to do her Senior Pictures, we had a blast!
Kelsy is a Class of 2016 Senior, at Los Alamitos High School. Her two great loves in life are photography (high fives) and fencing, which makes her super cool! She is such a sweet heart too; always filled with giggles and smiles. With a schedule filled with AP classes and a dream to go to UC San Diego, Kelsy is also a Foxy Model. You can see her gorgeousness from our Stitch & Feather shoots, where she is looking totally adorable and also at our Beauty From the Ashes.
We stumbled upon this epic location in Downtown Fullerton. I have shot just outside this location many times, but the gates of this fun location were opened, so we ventured in and took some pics. Don’t worry, I got permission! Kelsy really wanted a vintage car to be a part of her Senior Portrait shoot, so we were both giddy when we saw this epic classic sitting in the lot. We then busted some fashionista poses and got some beautiful shots. Even when Kelsy isn’t smiling, her sweetness just oozes from her eyes. I love this girl! It was time for an outfit change and I love her pretty pink top. And the backdrop was SO PERFECT for this whole look. And of course, we had to get some shots on this pretty blue back drop. The pink is just popping off the screen! Another location that Kelsy wanted, was something pretty and with tons of flowers. I was super excited to show this wall of flowers. She almost looks Hawaiian.
We then headed to a beautiful nature spot and got some gorgeous photos with pretty light. Kelsy, thank you for being you! You are a jewel of a young lady. I have been so blessed by you this year. I have enjoyed teaching you the ways of photography and having you help me on my shoots. You are a delight to be around and I really hope you get into your dream school of UC San Diego.
