When I photographed Joy and her sisters we had a blast. We spent two hours taking all sorts of pics, but I think we could all agree that we had the most fun when I busted out the hula hoops.

I think a family portrait session is always more fun when props are involved because it gets your client to loosen up in front of the camera and have some fun. So here is a quick video of some of my clients, who hadn’t taken a photo together for 30 years, being silly in front of the camera.
