Sisterhood is a special bond. Doing each other’s hair, staying up late into the night to talk about boys and having someone to always giggle with — that’s how I imagine growing up with a sister. In reality, sisterhood is also probably matched with stealing each other’s clothes, fighting over boys and tattling on each other. Nevertheless, sisterhood sounds like a good gig to me.

Joy, Linda and Mary Ann are sisters and are the type that giggle, A LOT! With beautiful eyes, these lovely ladies were a joy to photograph. It had been over 35 years since they had “official” family portraits done, so it was an honor to capture how much of a bond they still share.
