Happy Christmas

There are lots of things to be thankful for this year. God has blessed me abundantly. My husband and I have been praying for many things over the past year and it is exciting to see how some of those prayers were answered.

At the top of my prayer list is always my husband. I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man who I just adore. He loves me so well. We are about to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and I am so thankful he is in my life. I am totally addicted to my husband and I love that we love living life together. One of the things that was super cool for him this year, and a big answer to prayer, is that he got a bunch of publications in a variety of literary journals, the biggest one being in Shanendoah. Woot! You can check out more of his writing on Book Fox. We are quite the artist pair.

Another thing we prayed for was to find a church that we could get involved in. When we moved, we left a really amazing church, Pacific Cross Roads lead by Rankin Wilbourne, who I have to say, without exaggeration, is the BEST preacher I have EVER heard. We searched and searched for a great church that had solid preaching, was close to our house, had people our age, had contemporary worship and a strong sense of community. After a year of not feeling really connected anywhere, we found IT! Rock Harbor planted a church in the heart of Fullerton and we have been at home ever since. We have found ourselves serving as Life Group leaders and also on the greeting team, which has allowed us to meet some amazing friends and create a strong community that we fellowship weekly with.

I also prayed to see where God would take my business. I rebranded this year and decided to focus on lifestyle portraiture of hip and happy people. I have the best clients in the world and I am so honored that they trust me to capture their family with my camera. I am excited to see how my business is going to grow next year. And to my former clients who are reading this, thank you for being so awesome!

There are many other wonderful things that have happened this year, but this post is getting too long. Thanks for all of you who read my blog and leave sweet comments. Thanks to my students who I am honored to teach. Thanks to my family and friends who support me and love me. And praise God for all the blessings He pours upon us. Merry Christmas folks.
