Fullerton Family Portraits: The Albertos

I LOVE this family! We met in the strangest of ways. A couple of months ago, John and I were sitting next to this fun couple at an 80’s dance party hosted by RocK Harbor Fullerton. Making small talk with our new friends, we told them we were new to Fullerton and had just bought a house. A few words were exchanged about the cross streets and more questions followed. The answers led to the fact that they owned our house before the people we bought our house from. SUCH A SMALL WORLD!!! So after getting to know them and seeing their insanely gorgeous children, we knew that we were a perfect fit for a family portrait session.

Before getting our session going, I like to ask my clients what they think a perfect afternoon would be like. Michelle explained to me that the kids love to paint and express their creativity, but that the family of six also spends lots of time enjoying nature along the gorgeous trails of Orange County. So our fun day creating art along the Fullerton Loop was the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

undefinedIt was so much fun to see how daddy Joel lovingly encouraged the kids to use their creativity as they used watercolor and acrylic paints.undefinedundefinedCaleb is really quite the artist and was using some serious concentration as he created his masterpiece.undefinedBut he didn’t like how his turned out, so he put on a pouty face as he showed off mommy and daddy’s artwork.undefinedLevi was curious as to how his painting tasted.undefinedEmma was into pinks and purples. I love the texture of her artwork.undefinedAnd baby Grace is just precious. I love how she looks so sweet. undefinedThis little girl just makes me want to have one. Oh!undefinedThis is one of my favorite pics of Emma. This little girl is seriously the sweetest and one of the most poised young ladies I have ever met. For only being six, I was so impressed by her! And she is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!undefinedOh boys, you are too adorable!undefinedAnd family sessions should never just be about the kids, but the marriage should be celebrated too.undefinedundefinedLooking at all of them together, our little three bedroom was definitely too small for this big family.
undefinedJoel and Michelle, I am glad you are in our lives. God definitely wanted us to be friends! It was an honor to capture your family with my lens. undefinedAnd seriously, you have to check out the slideshow. There were so many jewels from this shoot, that there are too many gorgeous images to choose from.
