It’s pretty customary that people take photos of their kids on the first day of school right? Well, John and I have no kids yet, but we are both in education. So a couple of weeks ago, one of my dearest friend’s, Jen Disney came over to practice some off camera lighting. John wanted to model some of his new professor clothes, so it turned into a whole photo shoot of John and then I got jealous. I wanted to be in the shots too! Big hugs to Jen (who is one of the best wedding photogs I know) for taking some sweet shots of my hubs and I.

John is officially a full time professor at Biola this year. As the Writing Director of the Torrey program, he has to instruct 500 kids to become better writers, as well as lead discussions on the “Great Books” and mentor a bunch of students. He has an exciting, yet very difficult year ahead of him. This is a big answer to prayer for us, so I am excited to see how God will use him there. I’m proud of you honey.
