I love my husband dearly and today is his birthday. I wanted to take a moment to publicly say over the the blogosphere how much I love this incredible man.

I have been blessed to have known John for six years and been married to him for five of those years. We met and fell in love pretty quickly, and not even 9 months later, I had a ring on my finger. Four months after that, I said “I Do” to my beloved.

During those six years we have been to almost twenty countries, moved twice and made our last move into our beautiful home and have had tons of successes and heartbreaks along the way. Darling, you have supported me thru so much and I thank you for that. You have always been my cheerleader and biggest supporter. I hope one day we can have lots of babies and that you write lots of amazing novels that make it on the New York Times Best Seller List. I am so happy that I married an artist and educator, so we can travel the world together and seek to make beauty thru the everyday.

And I wanted to leave you all with my favorite photo of my darling. I love this photo for so many reasons. Simply I love how happy John is. As you can see, John had just climbed up the boat after our first dive in Thailand. We have been scuba diving for many years now, but your first one is definitely one of the best. I can see John’s love for adventure in his eyes and the true joy of the moment in that huge smile. I love how his hair is long and beard full grown, because my best times with him, are when we are living out of backpacks. What I love most is that I see this smile often.
