I love my friend Megan. We lived together in college and through most of our 20’s. She is like a sister to me. It has been so much fun seeing her family grow thru the past few years into something really beautiful. And now that I am expecting, I know that Megan is going to be one of the main people I go to for questions about motherhood, because she is one of the best mothers I know.

A few weeks ago, Megan was shopping and was approached by a children’s talent scout. Every mom thinks their kids are gorgeous, but when a talent scout tells you so, it’s a pretty amazing feeling. So that’s where I came in for some fun portraits of Megan’s little Lilliana.

It was getting a little cold, so we put on a cute pink sweater and then those incredible eyes really started to pop. And we had to get some of Megan and Isaac too. One of the most amazing things that Megan said to me that day, that I cling to as I anticipate parenthood, is that she has never been this happy in her entire life. It’s not that she wasn’t happy before, but the joy that her kids have brought to her life is unparalleled. With darling little ones like these, it’s no wonder Megan is always laughing.
