So I am half way done, half way to having two little boys to take care of. My pregnancy has been pretty easy so far, minus the awfulness of first trimester. Everyday was a struggle, and I felt like I was hit by a car by the end of every day. I constantly threw up, on my self while on the way to work and even in my classroom. Lovely. But now, I am in the second trimester and glory be, I feel awesome! I am looking like I am in my third trimester, but I feel great and have what people call the pregnancy glow. At this point in the game, I am only waking up once in the night and getting super comfortable with my body pillow. John feels like we have an intruder in our bed, but thank the heavens, I love that thing.
I am at 20 weeks, so I just passed my half way mark, as with twins, 38 weeks is full term. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can carry these boys that long and don’t have them early. I seriously pray everyday that I will deliver at full term. Three years ago, I would never believe it if someone told me that I was going to have twins, but God surprises me all the time. His plan is so much bigger and better than my feeble ones.
Here is a picture of the boys, via ultrasound. The bottom one was moving tons, so it was hard for the technician to get a good photograph. He was too busy kicking his brother in the head to pose for the camera. Ha! I think we are in trouble all ready.
So proud of you Amber! Your boys are already so handsome, of course because they have gorgeous parents!
OMG Amber! How freaking awesome, I am so happy for you and John for doubling your family 🙂 I can’t wait to see them. I hope all is well.
