Happy Fourth of July Foxy blog readers! I hope your day is filled with sunshine, barbecues and fun times with family and friends.

As I am in the home stretch of my pregnancy, I know that there is so much to look forward to. By this time next year, my babies will almost be walking and will be celebrating their first Fourth of July.

In honor of the wonderful blessings we have because we live in America, I give you one of my favorite photos that I took this year. It’s a photo of my darling niece, as she was standing on some hay bales on her parents’ organic farm. Wide open fields behind her and a gorgeous smile.

In the midst of massive corn and soybean fields, my cousins are going against the norm and taking a risk to farm their land using organic farming practices. They are literally going against the grain. To me, this is the American way … risk takers! And their darling daughter is so beautiful and filled with such a sweet spirit that I knew it was the perfect photo for today.
