I had so much fun photographing Michaela’s senior portraits! Michaela is about to graduate from Fullerton High School as a class of 2013 grad. Michaela is stunning! She has gorgeous hazel eyes, strong features and beautiful hair, all making for a perfect combination to photograph. We had so much fun taking all sorts of pics, in a variety of locations for this very special senior portrait shoot.
Michaela’s mom had requested that we take pictures against a green backdrop, which in drought Southern California is hard to come by this Spring, but I knew just the spot. With Michaela’s soft and airy graduation dress, the field of wildflowers accented it perfectly.
We then headed across the street, for a different sort of look and the light was just gorgeous! And of course we had to change outfits! If you notice, Michaela is wearing a super fun necklace. She is into Steampunk, so we thought it would be fun to incorporate a hand made necklace into the shoot. One of Michaela’s greatest passions is horses. She has been volunteering with Paramount Performance for the past 4 years, starting out as a father-daughter bonding venture. From taking care of the horses to riding, Michaela truly shines when she is around her horses. I could really tell how comfortable and at ease she was with her darling Fire.
This location had all sorts of awesome backdrops. I could have photographed here all day! A wall of bugenvilla…oh my goodness!
And this cool wall! Seriously, a plethora of fun backdrops. Seriously, Michaela, you could look gorgeous against anything though.
And then the light disappeared and we got these last few shots. Girl, you are beautiful!!!
Michaela, thank you for trusting me with capturing your senior portraits. You are beautiful young woman. I hope you enjoy Cal State University of Fullerton and have an awesome rest of your senior year at Fullerton High School.
These are beyond beautiful Amber. You absolutely captured the beauty of both Machaela, but of the locations as well. There is this overwhelming feeling of comfort and poise throughout these that speaks to the bond between senior and photographer. Amazing set all around.
Amber,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking such sweet pictures of our ‘Lovely’! Your photos are truly amazing and it’s so obvious you have a great eye for capturing the heart of the ‘person within’. God has you right where you need to be . . . your passion for photography is a blessing to those you have photographed as well as those who will find their way to your amazing talent. You’ve put a smile on our hearts as we now adjust our lives for our next journey which will involve college life.
