One of the things that I love about photographing high school seniors, is to be able to have the opportunity to make young woman feel beautiful. Caitie is such a pretty girl, so she got lots and lots of compliments on the day of our photo shoot. Caitie is the Senior Class President at Rosary High School and one of Foxy Senior Models, so this girl is used to be in front of people and knows how to put on the charm. I have loved getting to know her through the past year and have been privileged to photograph her three times now, so we of course had a blast on our shoot that was just her.
We started our shoot in Uptown Whittier, which is a place I used to shoot at all the time. My own photo students are photographing portraits right now, so I wanted to shoot in the area that my students are taking pictures, so they could see how I utilize the same locations and I discover light and natural frames in their hometown. Plus, this gave Caitie a super unique and fun look to her Senior Portraits, since I typically don’t shoot there.
I just loved the light in this little grassy knoll between two buildings. And Caitie, you look STUNNING! Time for an outfit change and oh my goodness, I love that shirt! We then headed up to the hills overlooking Los Angles and got some fun shots with Caitie’s beach cruiser. So cute! This has to be my favorite image from the shoot, as it is SO FUN! I just love the cow girl look.
Caitie, you have the most beautiful smile! And we ended our shoot with some pretty golden light as the sun dipped behind the hills. Caitie, you are so sweet, kind and beautiful. I wish the best for you, as you end out your Senior year at Rosary. I have really enjoyed getting to know you this year and I am so excited that got to do this beautiful photo shoot together. Yeah!
