This session was probably one of all time favorite photo shoots. I LOVE this girl. Maxine is such a sweetie and just LOVED being in front of the camera. And the camera loved her! Maxine was one of my photography students last year and I was counting down the days till I got to photograph her. She is such a sweet heart and I think the photos really show the world her gorgeous soul shining from her beautiful smile.

We started our shoot at the gorgeous Roger’s Gardens down in Newport. This has got to be the most beautiful place one can possibly go to buy plants, so I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for the adorable Maxine.

I love this shot, because it shows off Maxine’s great style, but also one of my favorite things…cactus gardens.
I just love your smile Maxine!Maxine has done hula dancing since she was little, so we had to incorporate her life long passion with a hula session. I love this shot! We seriously had SO much fun together. Day dreaming of dancing in Hawaii and a bright future ahead.
