I love photographing high school seniors and I love working with seniors who are artistic. CJ is a student from Orange County School of the Arts, aka OSCA, and she was everything you would expect from a student who attends an art school…eccentric, bright and full of personality. CJ and I had a blast tromping around the streets and nature spots of Fullerton. And after spending a day at the fabulous Salon Lujon, who would not want to model for my lens?! She was pure gorgeousness!
I love to start out my shoots in a parking structure. It’s a little secret amongst photographers in the know…garages have GREAT light. It’s super flattering and oh so soft and pretty. And with CJ’s black dress it felt like she was going out for the night, so we started her adventure in nice spot where she simply sparkled.
We then changed outfits and CJ’s complexion looks amazing in this color. The emerald green perfectly compliments her gorgeous bronze skin.
I always love to give my girls the option to shoot in both urban and a nature spot, to give them a nice portfolio of images to choose from and cherish. It shows different sides of them too, from all glam to a more casual look. Thank you so much CJ for giving me the honor of capturing your Senior Portraits. You are so fun, talented and so very beautiful. I had a blast photographing you and I am so excited for your bright future that is ahead of you. Enjoy the rest of your Senior year at the fabulous OCSA and soak up every second. This time next year you will be missing high school.
