One of the hardest things about having your senior portraits taken is figuring out what to wear. This is probably my most frequented question that I get from my clients. I actually have an entire 45 page magazine that details What to Wear for my high school seniors, so they can feel totally confident in how they look and feel in front of the camera. So when it comes to your senior portraits, it’s imperative that the clothes you wear flatter your figure and highlight your personal style. I look back on my senior pictures, and I love how I can see my 90’s hippy self.
For the photos in this post, I partnered with Stitch & Feather and worked with the most amazing stylist named Bry. She has a special talent of envisioning from head to toe, what should be worn with what, and even what sorts of outfits would look best according to your figure. I seriously want her to dress me for my entire wardrobe. I recommend all my future high school senior clients to go to Fullerton’s Stitch & Feather and get the perfect photo ready outfit. Ask to work with Bry, and you will be set!
Keep in mind, this is the second installment of images highlighting our special shoot with Stitch & Feather, so make sure to also check out Part One of the series.
I really love this open shoulder peasant romper that Ashley is wearing. So gorgeous. It’s flirty, just like her. And the spring colors are perfect for So Cal and really pop against our backdrop of green.
These shots are so fun too. Emily is look adorable in this kimono ensemble, but made more daytime with the funky boho hat. And Alex’s legs could go for days, so the white dress that she was wearing looked amazing on her!How much do we all love this shot! Soo fun! The glasses that Victoria is wearing are so 60’s, but without looking explicitly vintage. I think I have to pick me up a pair. Oh to be young again. Ashely, you are killing me in this romper! Adorable!!!! And Nicole’s romper is equally amazing. I love the flared arms. I really love the whole look of the tide dyed inspired dress that Kelsy is wearing. So cute right?! And the sweet girlish pattern accompanied by a long sweater vest on Victoria is gorgeous! I love the layers of this outfit. Every detail is perfect. You girls are beautiful. So Foxy! Thanks so much to my team of Foxy Models for waking up early and strutting your stuff for the camera. I love my makeup artist, Amanda at Salon Lujon, who always does the best job making my girls look especially beautiful. Always amazing to work with. And of course, a huge thanks to Stitch & Feather, for dressing my girls and giving them a super model experience. Bry, you are awesome and oh so talented.
