So for the past year — okay, let’s be honest — the past three years, I have been dreaming about doing glamour portraits of women.

I have done senior portraits for six years, and I LOVE them. Beyond my family, high school seniors are my life, considering I spend most of every day with them. But in my heart of hearts, I have dreamed of photographing adult women. I love being able to get any woman in front of my camera and give her the opportunity to feel and look amazing!

How we perceive ourselves in our mind is often not the way other people see us. Okay, let’s rephrase that “we” to “I.” I often see myself as not so pretty, skinny-fat and just plain blah ever since having my twins. But how others see me is very different, at least from what friends have told me. So I want to give women the opportunity to see themselves as the fabulous versions we all love them as … Foxy & Fabulous!

Marie is a super good friend of mine. We met in Fullerton, in North Orange County, and now we’ve known each other for about a year. I simply love her. She is a strong, very smart and gorgeous woman. I admire many things about her and I am honored to call Marie my friend. And I was even more excited when I got the opportunity to photograph her and practice some skills I have been working on. And it was so fun to work alongside my friend Cheryl as I got these amazing shots.

I love how Marie can give a fierce glance toward the camera and then deliver a super bright smile. And the raised eyebrow! Love it. Look at this headshot! Marie, you are beautiful. It was time for an outfit change and I simply love the blue on Marie.
