This year I introduced a new benefit of a Family Portrait Mini Session for my Foxy Senior Models. It has been so much fun capturing not only my seniors, but being able to get to know the whole family. I am close with most of my model’s moms, so it was SO fun to meet a lot of the dads and other siblings. All my mini sessions were about 30 minutes, in my favorite park in Fullerton. We had just enough time to get some updated portraits for the walls and I always strive to get updated head shots of the rest of the family too, since the daughter has tons of her from her senior shoot.
Today’s family is the SUPER AWESOME Fraga family. I have so enjoyed getting to know the Fraga Family over the year of working with Nicole, since she is one of my Foxy Senior Models. One day I was talking to the mom about what her secret was to raising such amazing children. She responded that her and her husband always put the children first. They were their number one priority. With one child at Harvard and another on her way there (hopefully, lets keep our fingers crossed), they definitely raised academically successful kids. But besides for being smart, Nicole and her brother are seriously amazing young people. They are the sort of kid every mom wants their son or daughter to be best friends with.
Beautiful light and lots of green, which is hard to find these days. Ha! Sassy and so fashionable. I die! So beautiful the two of you are. So very handsome!
I love how the family coordinated their colors so well. Their living room is a mix of burgundy and brown, so I encouraged them to wear something that would match that room. We did this because ultimately they ultimately are going to put a cluster of canvases over their fireplace. It is such an honor working with families like the Fragas. Such lovely people.
Can you just feel the love here!? When was the last time you got your family portraits done? So many people get portraits done when the kids are little, but it’s so important to get updated portraits even when the kids are all grown up.
