One of the things that I love about working with my Foxy Models is that we get to bond and just hang. So for our first bonding night, we made cookies. Essentially we had a cookie bonding night!
My friend Erika has a cookie making business where she teaches kids how to make cookies, and even though my girls are not kids anymore, I still thought it would be fun to make cookies together and talk. It was really just an excuse to hang out and get to know each other.
All my Foxy Models go to different schools, so it’s during times like this, that my girls can get to know each other and become real friends.
Even though I have a small group of girls this year, I have to say, that these girls are rock stars. I can already tell that they are leaders at their schools, because they are so nice and sweet!
My Foxy Models are athletes, smart and super well rounded! We talked all about swim and soccer that evening and I was inspired to even do butterfly stroke the next day in the pool when I worked out! These girls inspire me!
So we made cookies, lots and lots of them. Our first cookie that Erika taught the girls how to make was her famous chocolate chip cookie recipe. I’m gluten free, so I sadly couldn’t try these amazing cookies, but the girls were oohing over how incredible they are.
And then we challenged the girls to cut out their own sugar cookies, which was strangely hard I must say. Ha! And Erika taught them how to create custom color icing and the girls loved getting a little messy as they decorated their sugar cookies.
It was a fun night for sure. I am excited to get to know these girls throughout the year. It’s going to be a fun year.
