For years and years, I have wanted to go to the Kitchen Sink Workshop with Amanda Holloway. I have done several of her online workshops and it was due time that I fly out to Texas. Texas is the mecca of senior portraits and studying with the queen of the industry was definitely on my bucket list. The workshop did not disappoint! I had a fantastic time learning, refining and studying the art of senior portrait photography.
The workshop is very intimate and intense. There is only nine photographers who get to go her workshop which allows for vulnerability and rawness. We all opened up with our struggles and offered suggestions on how we can do better, but for most of the time, Amanda showed us her way that has brought her so much success. And this is exactly why I went, to learn from the best. I had LOTS of aha moments and can’t wait to start implementing them into my business. I have a dream to bring gorgeous senior portraits to many more girls in Orange County and with Amanda’s tools, I can hopefully do just that.
Over the next three posts, I will be sharing with you some of the pretty pics I took of the models that Amanda had for us. Let me introduce you to Hannah. She is stunning and should be a professional model, as she was a natural in front of the camera. She is a senior at the Woodlands High School in Huntsville Texas. She is gorgeous! Her styling in a plum shirt & grey pants is perfect against the yellow backdrops which make my heart sing.
