The Kitchen Sink Workshop has been on my bucket list for years. I wish I would have done this workshop five years ago and not wasted so much time dreaming of going. 2016 was a year of no regrets. So in the midst of a hurricane, I was off to Texas to study with Amanda Holloway. Nine of us comfortably crammed into a her GORGEOUS studio that I had only seen on Instagram, and learned into the wee hours of the night. We studied everything you can think of, from styling our seniors, to learning how to offer a better senior portrait experience. The whole three days were epic and I learned a ton. 

Amanda Holloway is one of the best senior portrait photographers in the industry, so I love that I got to learn from the best. I am super excited to start upping my game and using what I learned for my Class of 2017 seniors! Woo hoo, this year is going to be awesome. 

Say hello to Meredith. She is a senior at the Woodlands High School in the Woodlands, Texas. It was a joy to photograph her and capture her perfect almond eyes. I really enjoyed working with her and having Amanda perfect my poses, to bring them from good to great. I can’t wait to practice my new posing tools with upcoming shoots this summer and fall.
