I am so excited to introduce you all to my intern Holly. Isn’t she just adorable!
Holly used to be one of my photo students a few years ago, so I was super excited when she asked if she could intern with me for this Spring semester. Her help couldn’t of come at a better time! Trying to learn how to run a biz is important, but my first lesson with Holly, was to have her be in front of my camera. So many photogs have no idea how nervous their clients are as they pose in front of a lens.
Holly switched into this adorable little dress and found some gorgeous pockets of light to look pretty in. One of the most important things an intern can do for the photographer they are helping out, is to know how to use a reflector. So I got to show her how to bounce light using a reflector and create catch lights in a model’s eyes, when working with back lighting. As we were finishing up our shoot and walking back to the car, we both kept getting side tracked by gorgeous light and had to keep shooting. Having another photographer alongside me is super fun, because random things like pretty light, get us both equally excited.

Holly is GORGEOUS! So glad you’re getting someone to be a help for you! And, just WHEN are we going to get an “official” baby bump shot? I’m dying to see it!!! 🙂
So happy you’re doing well out there in beautiful Cali!! 🙂
