This weekend is La Serna High School’s prom! I have been to a dozen school dances as a chaperone for many years and I love seeing the glitz, the glamour and the love in the air. All my students talk about these days is prom. Whether it’s the girl who still hasn’t found a dress or how she is going to do her hair, prom is a big deal for my young ladies. It’s like being a bride in training. The boys on the other hand get to be in charge of arranging the after parties, the limo and getting their tux. A man might wear a tux only twice in his life, to his high school prom and to his wedding.
