2013 is a BIG year for the Shoup family. Both girls, Kelsey and Mychal are graduating and I was given the honor of capturing their senior portraits. Kelsey is a graduating senior from Cal State University Sonoma and Mychal will be  a part of the class of 2013 from Fullerton High School. I was so excited to photograph these girls and commemorate all the exciting things ahead of them.

We started our shoot with a gorgeous backdrop of a weeping willow tree, so lots of gorgeous light and pretty greens to highlight both the girl’s natural beauty.

I am so excited that the family ordered a canvas of this image, as it just screams to put be printed large and put on a wall to enjoy.I love these classic black and whites. Oh, the Shoup girls are so gorgeous!!!We then headed to another location along the Fullerton Loop, for a different sort look. I love how stylish these girls are, and I just imagine how much fun they have borrowing each other’s clothes.Kelsey is about to graduate from college and has the whole world before her, so I love how strong and confident she looks in these shots.
Mychal is just darling. Smart and beautiful, this girl has an exciting future ahead of her. I love how fashionista this shot is. We had so much fun together! To round out the shoot, we headed to downtown Fullerton for a more urban look.
Kelsey loves bright colors and this shirt is one of her favorites. Pretty in pink!Kelsey has been a dancer since she was a little girl, so we had to bust a move and get some fun shots in her dance attire.
